What services does the network offer you?
The service is free of charge.
My entry does not appear in the position where I was expecting it to. What may be the reason for this?Probably you haven't put the country abbreviation before the area code, or you have left a space between the country abbreviation and the area code. Please go back to the change form and correct your entries!
I have forgotten my password. How can I change my data?Under 'change form' in the menu 'For therapists' you find an option for requesting your password, so that it is automatically sent to the email address you have quoted.
I have accidentally made an entry twice and now I can't change my entry. What can I do?First, one of the entries has to be deleted. Only after this has been done can you reaccess your entry via change form. The deletion has to be performed by us manually.
My photo does not appear in the profile although I have provided the path. What may be the reason for this?Probably you have not quoted the right path to the photo. The mistake that occurs most frequently is that the protocol (http://) is quoted, as well. Go to the change form and begin the quote of the path with www. You can get help here.
How can I load up the photo for the network from my computer?In case you don't have a photo on the Internet to which you wish to create a link, please use the function 'photo upload' to upload an image from your harddisk. Your profile will then automatically be linked to your photo. For more details see the respective pages. In exceptional cases you can simply send me your photo by email in form of a file attachment. Please do not send photos by email that have a size bigger than 300 kbytes. In exceptional cases we can scan in a photo that is submitted to us and link it to your profile.
I don't have my own homepage. How can I create a website in the network?The easiest way is to create your website in the text processing program that you normally use, e.g. MS Word. Usually all text documents can also be saved in the HyperTextMarkupLanguage format (.html oder .htm). In order to do so, you have to save the completed page as a HTML document instead of in the standard file format (e.g. in Word: .doc). It is possible to choose the background color, to include images, to create links to other websites, and to perform any other operation that might further be required for the creation of a simple page. For more details please see "help" of your text processing program.
How can I integrate a website into my profile?There are two options for doing so: If your page is already accessible on the Internet, enter its exact address (e.g. 'www.yourDomain.de/...') in the respective position of your profile (already at the time of enrollment or afterwards by using the change form). If you don't have your own website yet, you can create one yourself and then upload it onto the server of the network (text upload). In this way the created page can be accessed on the Internet and will automatically be linked to your profile. You can use only one possibility at a time, but you can always switch from one option to the other.
Only a few visitors access my profile. How can I increase the number of accesses to my profile?The most important factors, that have a positive impact on the number of visits to your personal profile, are the following:
Entries with a color background caught my eye. How can I color-highlight my entry?Your entry will be color-highlighted, if you support the network pages. You can do so in different ways:
In which of the many portals should I enroll?As for now, the question of what network to choose as your master list does not yet play a practical role. The master list is the network into which you enroll by using the entry form. However, you should already at this point pick the network as your master list which fits your profile best. In doing so you can already at this point provide for the further development of the network, as far as quantity is concerned.
How often should my entry be updated?You should keep your entry up to date, as updated entries are preferred in this list in several regards. Even if your entry is complete and still up to date, you should access it at least three to four times a year using the change form, then check it, add information if needed be, and save it once again. In this way the actualization date will be changed, according to which, among other things, the entries are ordered.
I would like to delete the entry, but I cannot find the respective function in the change form. What can I do?We have to delete the entries manually, because a publicly accessible automatic delete function might cause considerable damage.
